Services may include:
• Assessment of the worker’s current status and transferrable skills, following consultation with nominated treating practitioners;
• Identifying realistic work options within the labour market;
• Organising training if necessary;
• Helping a worker develop job-seeking skills and interview techniques;
• Providing assistance and support in obtaining a suitable job.
New Employer Services assist workers to return to work with a new employer, if you are unable to return to work with your injury employer. CAC work collaboratively with workers to assist them to RTW with a new employer in a safe (with respect to their injury) and durable role. Some workers require job search skills education and need assistance to identify their transferable skills and functional limitations.
